Im sure someone wrote this before, I did a search, but I didnt see anything dead on.

Came home today from a meet in NH, and parked my hot rod outside in front of my garage....went in real quick to watch the weather and fell asleep. I am the only one around, and I awoke to a down pour!

Got water in my carbs (rochester 2gc's). .....still cant believe I did this....

drained the bowls of each carb and put in dry gas in the tank, blew out the line.....changed the distributor from points to petronix a while back,
so that wasnt a big worry, but its running like sh*t now.....

    am I missing something?

Check the oil if you see water droplets on the dip stick chang the oil and filter. If no water shows start it up an let it run. The heat from running will dry it out.
