ok here goes nothing. today i will be installing the water pump on my 63 dart. its gonna be a tight job. russ1403 to the rescue again. . so one of the guys that "fixed" my car came in my coffee shop last night. he asked me when i was gonna get my car back to the shop to get more work done? are you fucking jokeing? no thank you . gonna do it my self (almost by myself)it took them almost 2 WEEKS to install a fule pump!!!!!. im very lucky i bought a car that rilly didnt have any problems. so far ive just had to have the carb rebuilt, fule pump, water pump an a compleat tune up. the body is pretty solid an only needs new tires an a paint job(oh yes pin stripes too it probely needs them the most)found a artical in mopar muscle on a 62 dart. i love the lights on the 62 it looks like a rocket ship. it also looks to be a bit smaller than my car. i love the trunk on my car you could stick 6 bodies in it easy. thank you every one who has sent me info. slantsix.com is pretty helpfull too.have a great weekend everyone
Glad to see (?) you tackling it your self. Thats why we have cool cars. Cause theyre easy to work on. If you think its tight, lookie a new one. Theres enough room in there to swing a cat.
Been following the posts on your Dart. Glad to see you found local help. Keep learning, we all started somewhere
Necrobillygirl, Keep your head up. There's undoubtedly more "You poor damsel in distress, I will sucker, er..., I mean save you, from auto dispair" in your future, yet like I always tell my daughters (they're only 7 & 10, but already reek of their dad's racing/hot rodding montra): Ask questions; Ask questions; and then Take notes physically and mentally. Oh yeah, and grab a few repair manuals to keep in your car. Long hair, fingernail polish, pretty dresses or tight jeans, and the wearing of a bra doesn't mean you can't get get greasy, muscle out a stuck bolt or car part, and/or troubleshoot an engine or drivetrain problem. I have two very nice toolboxes I've set aside for my girl's future, stocked full of tools I let my daughters get aquainted with, and have told them I plan ensuring they NEVER have to depend on some shuctster to keep their ride on the road. Good luck, good for you. The only stupid question is the one that was never asked.
If your car is anyway near as creative as your spelling it will be a wonder, for sure. Water pump, you didn't mention water pump in your last post. seems like we were dealing with a bad choke and leaking fuel line. How did you make out with the fuel line?
yes i'm a shit speller . thanks i didn't notice at all. I'm not sure not being able to win a spelling b Will keep me from fixing my car? but i do applaud you for needing to feel superior. i also applaud your spelling skills i am indeed in envy. have a nice day your highness an be care full on that high horse of yours, try not to step on those below you
I apologize. I thought your spelling creative and showed high intelligence, i was trying to be compimentary. If i'm on a high horse it is in your eyes only, as far as i know we are of equal value for there no 'above' nor 'below' me, it is just me thats all i am. Sorry if my post offended you, wasn't meant to for sure. Sincerely, oj
