I’ve got a Buick 350ci and looking for a way to hook up a thermostat fan switch. I’ve got one opening on the intake and I’m using it for a temp gauge. Any ideas ?

you could buy a thingy that fits in the upper hose. Or a thingy that pokes into the radiator fins.

  3. Not an expert on the Buick 350 head, the cylinder head may be a better place if there is a capped off hole to use.

  4. Used a thermostat housing with a NPT tapped hole for my temperature gauge sender. Possibly a similar one is available for the Buick.
I did use one of the push it through the fins thingies for my fans. It works well. Still put an override switch on 'em in case it fails.

Solder a 1/2" npt fitting into the bottom rad tank.
