    Have a 1932 Radiator cooling a 1946 Flathead.
    Everything is new and clean.

Anyone know if this product works?
    Redline Water Wetter

Any Pro's or Con's to the use of it?
    Thanks!

It helps if you get warm under rare certain cir***stances, but if you overheat regularly like you just do not have enough radiator or poor airflow it won't make that much difference. I have never seen any damage caused by using it. A similar product from BG is used in our coolant flush procedure so we us a lot of it.

I have noticed better cooling at the track when mixing watter wetter with water only. It’s supposed to improve the properties of anti-freeze also, but I have not noticed any big improvement. I was surprised how much rust and dirt came out of my flathead block when I cleaned the cooling p***ages.

My opinion is products like Water Wetter is nothing but a money maker for the manufacturer. A properly designed cooling system doesn't need what I call Snake Oil to prevent over heating. Save your money and fix the real problem.

Even if the "snake oil " worries are out there , water wetter will protect the cooling system and protect aluminium from corrosion . Plus it doesn't seek out leaks like anti freeze. I use it in all my rods , don't have any overheating issues . Attributable to water wetter , who knows.

It works good in systems that have normal size water p***ages in the cores. I know from experience that it will clog the **** out of small p***age cores such as intercoolers. I use it in my truck and saw a small decrase in temp.

I used it for several years in my '55 Chevy and it does work.

It did lower the coolant temp slightly, but it's a supplement, not a subs***ute for a well-designed cooling system.

That sounds more like a stop leak product rather than water wetter, it is a clear liquid, I don't really see how it would plug anything.
