Way kustom steering wheels

Heres one I just started working on. A few different ways I can go with the center. haven't made a decision yet.

 

why are the corners of your steering wheel photo-chopped?

 

I havent finished them yet, just doing a mock up type thing to get the overall look going.

 

oh gotcha- was thinkin you were hiding the secret part

Personally I would restore them and then see what you get for them. Those are both cool just the way they are and could fetch a pretty penny...

A custom 40 ford wheel I did ,On that site did a hundred bucks and thats it,There not worth your time

 

What are you doing with the Chrysler wheel? I have a guy wanting a chopped mopar wheel but I dont have any right now.

 

Heres the new design I'm working on, I'm pretty excited about is so far. The inside perimeter of the horn button will be lit with LED's. Should be pretty kool.

 

Personally I think they look like shit! but that my opinion, I agree with Buzznut they would look better restored or cut down diameter. My friend cut his wheel up and it was a pain to drive so I don't see the point...

 

Like everything else in the hobby:

I can see where you're coming from. I'm just bored with all the Cliche' shit over and over these days. Like the whole idea that during 3 decades (teens-30's) that the only grill shell ever made was '32 Ford. It just makes the whole scene boring to me. Kinda like overly chopped rat turd model A's. I wish Roth was still around!!

 

Finally got my wheel painted up and on my car.. Thanks Dog Dish Deluxe..Looks way Kool..

 

I Love It! The merc seemed kind IMCOMPLETE WITHOUT A crazy wheel.

 

Ya... I think it looks right!!!! It is fine to drive with too... Way Kool in my world...

Heres one I started messing with last night. Couple rare pieces here. The whee is a '60 Pontiac standard wheel and the horn button is an early 60's Merc but I'm not sure of the year, anybody know? I plan to two tone the grip areas on either side of the wheel and I'm thinking of inverting the bottom section, but I probably wont because I like it the way it is.
