At the boneyard today I bought a '60's or early '70's BMW small bike. It,a a 2 cylinder with 1975 plates. It has plastic side boxes and a lot of gingerbread. But its Neat. Are there any bmw sites or sources for parts for this little turd?

  4. Go to IBMWR.org
    Browse around, it's all there.

  5. SMALL bike?? BMW did not MAKE a small two cylinder motorcycle.
If it's got regular looking forks, it's probably a /5 (slash five), the model SHOULD be on the engine, look at above the cylinders, R75 is common, that'd be a 750. R60 is 600, R90 would be 900 and so forth.
Chrome side to the tank makes it a 'toaster' tank, only '71, '72, and '73, IIRC.

If it's not got regular looking forks, it's a bad, bad bike and you MUST give it to me immediately, or your future is bleak.
