  2. When my wife turned 40, I told her that maybe I would swap her in on two twenty year olds. She said she wasn't too worried because men aren't wired for 220. The smart aleck. I also told her that I like my coffee the same way I like my women,,,sweet and blonde. Her reply? She likes hers strong and black! I just keep my mouth shut now.............LOL

Congrats and good luck for another 30. And to the rest of ya it is damned impressive to see some of the time y'all have in.

I married my first potential ex-wife and we are still together. She will hafta leave because I ain't.

I figure any woman that says you had better put some Gotdamn A/C in that car or your gonna die has to be alright in my book. Figure I will keep her around.

Oh and she said I could have a girlfriend or a bunch as long as she never saw them and they have to either live in the attic or in my new shop. My kid wants a wife just like her.

The wife and I hit 30 years in September. We got married at 19, just kids. Can't picture my life without her.

Congrats Packrat! Thanks to everyone else for the support. I'm getting hitched August 19 (just over a month), and it's nice to see that so many people can get a marriage and a hot rod addiction to work together for many years.

    CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Like John Daly said about why his latest marriage seems to be enduring..."I guess we love each other just a bit more than we hate each other!"

Congratulations! Yesterday we helped friends celebrate their 60th anniversary. To make this on topic they were married by a J.P., as they sat at the curb in front of McVoy's Grocery store, in their then fairly new '40 Ford.

I will be 100 if I make it to our 60th. Ole lady will still probably be bitching about how cold it is in the roadster going thru creek bottoms on our way home @ 2:30AM on a Sunday morning, good thing will be by then I probably won't be able to hear her:D .

Congratulations. That's quite a milestone. I've been married 33 years and the most amazing thing is how I ever made such a good decision when I was 24?
Have a great day with your wife (also the secret to a happy marraige)

My grandma was married twice, each for over 25 years with a 14 year break in between. I've never heard of anybody else doing that.

30 years sometimes feels like 30 seconds under water.:p Congrats to you both!

  21. Congrats!

We're going on 32 this year. She knew it was gonna' be cars forever (along with her) when I gave her a 327 for my 54 Chevy on her birthday when we were 18 years old. And I even borowed the money from her. Of course I'm still paying her back.
