  2. take it :D it will be the least of your troubles,ok i a mkidding, bad clutches huge tolerance i ngears in ******, carb issue with bad results, drive shaft coupleings are rubber, and hog the splines ,kind of like a throw together hotrod, you go and fix and go some more, some have no problem,s others fall apart with bad bolt strength and threads all galled from the factory, rode a few, i would like a real old one just for the cl***ic aspect ,but unless you get it cheap i would make another deal

this is a great site, to read about all the items, owners had trouble with

My brother used to have one.

    What a piece of ****!
There is one Russian built bike that is supposed to be even more unreiable than the Ural, and the guy he sold it to had one of those as well.
( Actually he had parts of about 3 Bikes...)
The money he used was given to him by the Guys Father, to buy a Car so he had transportation to work.
But instead he bought the Ural ( with a Parts Bike as well, I guess you need those to try and keep 'em running...)
And my brother threw a party after we delivered it.

I've heard that they are really good for people looking for very poorly reverse engineered, shoddily constructed, badly performing, marginally safe, maintenance albatrosses, built by people paid less than it cost them to transport themselves to work, at the tale end of the death of a totalitarian empire, which dehumanized them and demoralized them to the point that they believed that if they were not stealing from their employers they were stealing from their families.....other than that I've heard thy are really good.
