I dont know whether this feature even already exists on HAMB but here goes anyway... I am starting out on a '30 Coupe build and have found DOZENS of useful threads for various aspects of the build that I will need at some point. Case in point, a thread I spotted this morning that has all part numbers for early Ford juice brakes. I don't need it NOW but will do in a few months. So, is there a way (or could there be...) that members could have a page into which they could store useful threads. A way of archiving threads for future use, maybe categorized like Brakes, Frame, Engine, Suspension and so on. Anyway, just a thought. the site is a treasure trove of information and I was just trying to find a way to store away pages I will need. At present I am having to resort to inserting them into a do***ent I have offline.
Subscribe to the threads of interest to you. If the thread becomes inactive and you want to save it, go to your list of subscriptions, select the subscribed thread and then scroll to the bottom of the page. Then click the drop down menu and select to move the subscription to the folder of your choice. You can refer back to it later from there.
I was under the impression that is why Ryan started the Tech Archives. HRP http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=8
OK, got it. Many thanks. Hadnt seen the ability to save subscribed threads to folders. This will help me a ton... HRP, the tech archives are indeed very handy but are a general list of threads. I wanted to build a categorized list that was relevant to my build.
