Hey guys. Can someone share a photo of a 4x2 inline with direct linkage? I have a wc245 with 4 97’s in line with straight linkage. My question is how are you guys hooking up a throttle cable and throttle stop to this setup? I’ve seen the cable plate stromberg sells for a throttle/kick down cable... I’m running a 4 speed so I don’t need the kick down cable deal. Ideally like to run my cable directly from the pedal to the carb somehow like the standard 4 barrel setup. That possible? Thanks!
If you are using 'straight' linkage to all 4 carbs then all you need is the cable to some point along the linkage. If you need to change the leverage of the cable then a bell-crank would be mounted on the manifold and cable attached there.
Thanks for the info. I’m thinking get a center carb longer arm and attach a cable to that. Then just make a throttle plate like strombergs that fits my setup better...
