We are growing

I went by today to check out the progress at Bob Hindman's. He and Larry have been hard at work building new cars. There were two ch***is about ready to go out the door to thier new owners and a third to be completed soon.

The two cars were equipted with rear axle housing w/brackets, steering mounts setup for reversed Corvair boxes, brake pedels mounted w/mc brackets. and the tabs in place for the floorboards as well as the side panels. Once the new owners bring in the seats of thier choice they will be mounted and the belt mounts can be installed. These cars are set up for quarter eliptical front springs.

The third car will be back under construction when the first two are out the door with more to follow. Also shown is the car Bob raced this past year to the champion ship.

 

Three cheers for you guys. Seems like Oklahoma & California are the two hotbeds in the country.

There are a couple of other new cars in the works also. Sorry I don't have pics of them at this time. When they are available I will post. We are looking to have eight cars for the first race of the year. There could be two GMCs, a couple Slant 6s, a couple I6 Fords, a Jeep, a couple Chevys and a "to be announced later". Yes, it looks like we're growing.
