Paul Neice ,of Hurst texas (pauls welding/fabrication) my good friend..of many years,. passed away earlier tonight .Those of us that knew this talented, Knowledgable man ....wil miss him...................... He was a fellow long time senior Hamber, Anyone wanting information can email me ,God Bless........... ................lynnbeam54@yahoo.com
I'm going to miss Paul terribly. I talked to him almost every day for as long as I can remember. He was a good friend and taught me a lot of really valuable stuff. He was a good man and an amazing friend.
I have been talking to his daughter off an on today. There are no set funeral plans as of yet. I'll post them when they are available. She is very touched by how much her father meant to his friends. She wanted me to pass on a message. The family would like to make this funeral a celebration of Paul's life and his passion by asking everyone to bring their hot rods and customs. A last rod run if you will. Also, instead of dressing up they would love for everyone to wear their favorite car related shirt. Paul would have wanted it that way.
The visitation will be at Mount Olivet funeral home on Slvania in Ft Worth on Thursday from 6- 8pm. The funeral will be at the same place and will be Friday at 1:30.
Very sorry to read this. Paul and my dad were friends since before I was born. I haven't seen him in a few years. Paul, Bill Cushing, Pug Ables and my dad founded Southern Streetsters together which was one of (if not) the largest car clubs in Ft. Worth back in the early 70's through the early 80's. I remember Paul having a '67 or '68 camaro which he bought brand new and then built into a drag race car. Gods speed to his family. Paul will be missed in the local area for sure.
Great family--I never met the man but he is fortunate to have such an understanding family. Certainly he is a loss to the hobby. RIP.
I was glad to see all you guys ...was a good turn out,The man will be dearly missed....... and never forgotten.............., they broke the mold ,after Paul... Thanks and good wishes to all, Lynn
