Yikes! Hope everything is going well now. No wonder you haven't been online lately. I can't help ya out with a room, we're statying at Mikes but perhaps tomorrow folks who made too many reservations will start to cancel. If not, 35 miles isn't that far. If you get off at the Corvette Museum exit, on the right beside the Continental Inn is a small motel that always has rooms Friday. It's not much but at least it's four walls and a roof over your head.

As of a few days ago hotels.com listed several hotels in the area with rooms, but I think the closest was about 30 miles.
Well things have setteled down now, after a 7 hour surgery, that they had never before done, due to the rareity of his problem. It was the longest day of my life. But he is doing very very well and his heart has returned to normal size, after being 2 1/2 times enlarged. Were just thankful that its finally over and he is healing so well!! The Doctors said he was the talk of the town in the medical community But we weren't quite there with them on the excitement of a new learning experience for them!! I'm sure that they will be writing a journal article on his surgery and outcome. so about Bowling Green, thanks everyone for all the info. I did book at the Knights Inn at Cave city, prob got one of the 4 rooms that had just gotten let go. I still haven't given up on getting a little closer to all the FUN!! but at least were covered from now. Thanks everyone!!!!

Todays my lucky day!!!! I just found a room at the Microtel on Scottsville road. rate 63.46 they have two more rooms available if anyone needs one. 270-745-9922!!!
