I've been "lurking" here for a while especially enjoying the wisdom
of Farna and watching the progress of a certain Rambler American wagon
    owned by Ramzoom.
Since I have a stock 1960 Rambler American wagon, (except for dual carbs
and aluminum manifold) , I'm thinking about various ways to go on my car.
If you would have told me even 5 years ago, that I'd have one of these cars, I would have laughed and stayed with my old Fords. However, now that I'm retired( mostly) , I 'm finding that I can have as much fun with a low buck kind of car without breaking the piggy bank !
I've had so many cars over the years(I"m 67) and now I really don't have to "prove " anything to my car buddies.(even tho they just rolled their eyes when I told them what I bought !). Thanks for letting me into your group !

Welcome to the group! Do you prefer paper or plastic?

Yeah when I asked my buddy what's a Rambler he laughed cause some guy asked if I'd trade my project dodge truck for a rambler. I really dig the car and not to many of them around now. It's funny how much more attention I get driving it then my old chevy.

I'm a Rambler guy from way back. I'm debating on whether to install a turbo on an old L-head 65 American I have or stick a complete 2.3L turbo drivetrain in from a Merkur... IRS and all. Might not touch either one for a while, or ever, though! Got all the parts, just not the time now, and want to do so many other things...
