Trying to replace the rubber seals for the vent windows in my 47 Chevy. They are hard as rocks and I feel like I'm going to destroy the frame if I get after it any harder. Is there any trick to getting these out?
The only trick I know of is patience. Might try using wire cutters to gnaw away at them, a bit at a time.

Heat gun is the winner! I heated it up just enough to soften and I was able to work it out with a small flat blade screwdriver. I have more to go but I just wanted to report back to let everyone know it's HAMB to the rescue yet again . Thanks for the help , good people.
