My Weber carb adapter. I used 1.75x3.25 steel tubing. Made the ports with a hole saw. On a Lincoln V8. In my 1964 cobra
Did you sort your high idle? Having the carb throttle arms joined directly to each other will make it tricky as you’ve not got independent idle control for each carb.
Yes I am finding that out. The left side carbs are opening before the right side. So back to the drawing board
You need to synchronize all the carbs with the linkage disconnected from all the carbs. then adjust all the linkage so the carbs don't change when you hook them up. I like tuning Webers. I've done them for years. I just did a Bug with dual webers that know one could get to run right. I got it running good.
looks like webbers on a shared plenum. if theyre on a shared plenum thats going to be very over carbed.
It's actually similar to the old log manifold that mounted 6or8 Stromberg carbs. It doesn't idle too bad but really hauls ass when you floor it.
Does seem a bit of a waste to put carbs intended for individual runner use and put them on a common manifold, erasing any benefits IR setups would have. But if you're happy with the results, that's all that matters!
