Technical Weber Aluminum Flywheel ?

    I'm pretty sure this Weber Flywheel is for a Small Block Chevy?....Bolt pattern... diameter...ring gear count, etc....What I don't understand is why there are timing marks on the outer edge by the ring gear? Wouldn't these be hidden by the bellhousing? Thanks for any help....Mac .

    Unless it was used with the bellhousing that had the inspection cover which could be removed, unlike
    the fully enclosed, later aluminum versions.

    There’s lots of bellhousings, factory and aftermarket where they’d be visible

    I’ve never seen one with so many balancing holes especially because there is only one set of marks for pressure plate positioning.

    Probably been balanced numerous times after the steel surface had been replaced.

    Or balanced by the new guy .......I've seen some tires with wheel weights all around the rim like that
