Wee bit of tech.

    While waiting for the bondo to set on my hairpins I thought I'd try and
    get my rear shock brackets looking better.
    Ended up making little covers to hide the nut holding the coilover on.
    Took some .080 aluminum cut the same as the bracket and welded some
    1/8" alum. tabs on the back side to screw into.
    Pic.1 is the before thing and pic 2 is the cover before black paint to match
    the housing...

    Been thinking of ways to "clean up" the coil over mounts for my "A."
    You just gave me a way!

    BTW - did you make covers for BOTH sides?? (front and rear)

    This site continues to amaze me. You guys take random stuff that's lying around and on a whim do incredible things with it. Truly amazing.
