I'd chop it 4", you could probably get away with a 3" if you wanted to be conservative.

Cheeky FUCKERS, My hacksaw/surgical insturment is just FINE thank you very much!
I'm still making progress on the chassis, fitted the rear shocks in a more convetional place today.The Chop is coming, don't worry you'll know when I'll make bloody sure of it!Geordie was asking me yesterday about it and its just a matter of timeing!

What do you set the timing at for a roof chop?

 

My Hacksaw is a thing of beauty, I like a GOOD hacksaw me and I have nice blades too!I went outside to take a picture of the body under the tarp, but the poxy camera flash wasn't stong enough!

I have a four stroke sthil saw that runs a Suzuki GSXR1100 motor and the timeing is a bit out, due to the hairy cams the fucker is running!!!!!!

I think 4'' is the way forward, not TOO much, but just right.Its all about the proportions I don't dig the top heavy look that it has right now.At first I wasn't gonna chop it at all, but the more I look at it the more I know I'm gonna have to do the dirty chop business!
