Got this Sharpe cobalt paint gun at a garage sale for 2 bucks. It needed a good cleaning but works great.

 

I got the El Stinko! I sealed the deal today and will drag it home later in the week. It’s front clip isn’t really bolted together so it’s a snaggletoothed SOB and the floors are rough.

Got a bunch of stuff for early 60s Chevy and for my old shovelhead and a Edelbrock C396 and a bunch of early 70s Easyrider and chopper magazines

 

Helped a buddy clean out an old warehouse be bought.Scored a Edelbrock F262 dual quad intake and a 1951 Coke A23 machine in working cond....A good weekend!

I bought this entire big gross pile of engines for basically scrap prices. (2) 302s for my buddy, a 58 348, a prewar flathead, early 50’s flathead w/tranny, early 60’s 283 w/ Edelbrock intake, and a mystery SBC. We left a flathead and another SBC because the trailer tires were going flat. Still need to go through it all and see what’s treasure vs recycling, but the 348 stuff was worth the price of admission.

 

I scored a ‘64 3.36 Posi center section, a Saginaw 3 speed with a hurst shifter, 6 65? SS caps, a truck cluster with a SW tach hacked into it, a couple speaker grilles, and a box of center caps.

 

Lewk, i believe your speaker grille with the impala is from a Russian Volga M21.

 

Had to restore them but, Got some Ansen Ground Grabbers for the '55

 

AC stuff for my 63 SS and Impala style arm rest frames for my 60 ElCo

Dusting off this old thread because I scored something cool this weekend! $100 ‘53 331 Hemi in a basement. I left several 350s and an Olds 455 with a freshly ground crank. I’m still kicking myself over the Olds.


Seems to be standard bore with minimal wear (I haven’t measured anything) with a freshly turned crank. I seem to be missing the intake and exhaust manifolds, the oil pan, and the lifters. We got a new dawg too, so it was a good weekend!

 

I afraid I'm going to need a better picture of that cute little dawg. What did you name him?

Hey, I've got something.
Made the deal this weekend and picking it up tomorrow. A good, durable, reliable, 250A 200lb transformer Lincoln mig welder. Barely used. Extras include a nearly full tank.

 

New 671 blower for cheap

 

Went to an auction yesterday to try to buy a Model A pickup and ended up with a free pristine 56 Olds wheel cover. A guy bought several wheel covers that all went together just to get a few. I asked about the Olds cap and he said take it as long as I would also take the other 5 or 6 that he also didn’t want.

 

It’s still the weekend for a couple more hours. This poor Buick is pretty rough. It was picked up by a loader with a strap in the middle and bent in half. It’ll be a donor for an Impala convertible conversion when I finish my ElCo.
