Alright, someone else started the thread so I needed to add this. My sister in law won this pedal car in a charity event and gave it to my kid. Being only 10 months old now, I converted it into a wagon until he is tall enough to use it as a pedal car. These pix are from the Covina Christmas Parade.

  12. Frist Weinermobile (driven by hotdoggers) hit the street in 1936,since they were custom built ,that would make them old school customs heh heh heh

That looks exactly like the one I took of the weinermobile inside The Henry Ford.

LOL, that'd sure be funny to see rolling down the highway.:D

Here's my nephew being a real live weiner with mustard, relish, onions, and I think he was laying on the catsup. It's a cute little thing The Henry Ford has for the kids right next to the Weinermobile. Yep, I laid in it to but thankfully I had my camera in my pocket.:D

That rig is a cartoon copy of the "****mobile" most famously seen on the Steppenwolf album inside cover in the early 70s.

I saw on of the W-mobiles around Chicago getting a ticket. I think his tail lights were out. There's just something wrong about giving a ticket to a weinermobile.

I don't relish the thought of being p***ed by a 20 foot weener. Couldn't you ketchup to him?

Brooks Stevens did the first Weinermobile and one of the early ones can be seen in the Henery Ford Museum in Dearborn. I do not think it's a Ford, however. Whenever they build new ones, Oscar Meyer usually puts out a press kit with the history in it. Some of this information is in my book "Weird Cars." They never sold many of those books, but it does have a bit of a following a**** the lunitic fringe.

I worked with a guy who was one of the "Lil Oscars" in the 60's.
He said it was one of the best low-paying jobs he ever had.
I asked if he wanted to go to weinerschnitzel for lunch and he hit me.
I'm 6'and he couldnt have been 5". Every body laughed at me, but I still went.

It kinda creeped me out watching that thing get closer in my rear view mirror. I didn't want to get rear ended by it..."

Oh my! The thought of being rear-ended by a huge weiner!......gosh.....
