    Hi,

I would like to know from what time period did Weiand make their flathead ford V-8 heads dual, triple, and quad carb intakes and heads. Mainly interested in the pre-'48 59AB parts.

Phil Weiand made his first flathead intake manifold (Weiand tall) in 1940. Barnet Navarro did most of the machine work. All of the 59A Weiand heads, dual, triple, and quad intakes were made post war (1946-1948).

Just wondering, where you came up with this information? When did Phil stop selling the 59A parts? I have a Midwest Auto Specialties catalog from 1960 and it does not list any Weiand flathead parts. I have a 1965 1/2 Honest Charlie catalog and the only Weiand flathead parts listed are generator brackets.

I read in a magazine article that the Weiand tall dual (got one) was first made in 1939. So it must be true, right?
