Does anyone know when Weiand stopped using the star with the "Say Why-And" logo? I have a line on a really cool manifold but I want the parts to be correct for the time period the car will be built to resemble.
I just got a weiand intake with that logo on the front and a "W" marked behind the carb, the guy I bought it from said it was a copy of the factory Z28 intake, so 67-69? It does have the Oil fill tube in front, but no dates printed on it.
I've got a 65 1/2 Catalog and all the new products e.g Mustang single 4 barrel manifold and valve covers had the "Say Why-And" logo and the earlier stuff still had the block letter logo. Hope this helps. swifty
