Hey guys, I need to get a straight on shot in "high definition" or big pixel digital picture of a factory 53 ford radio in the dash and I can't find one anywhere on the net. Basically my issue is my 53 dash doesn't have a factory radio and I was planning on putting a delete panel where it went and then screen printing the image of one like its there but not.... then it flips down to reveal the updated cd player etc. Can anyone help? If so I can provide my email address to send the jpg to. Thanks!
As usual everything we want to do has been done before and there are pictures to prove it. HAMB member Lanny Haas has done what you want already. Go to THE H.A.M.B. > General Discussion > Traditional Discussion & Happenings Radio Delete Check out posting #40. You will have scroll back a fair bit as the last entry on the original topic was 02/20/2012. This should suit your purposes.
An easier way to find the post I refer to, is to use the search function of the forum on the header above. When you click on search, click on advanced search and it will give you the option of putting in your search item and the member posting. Enter radio delete for search and lanny haas in the member name. The listing is on the second page at the bottom, listing #40.
An even easier way is to just click on this link and then scroll to the bottom of the page. That still doesn't get him the picture he's asking for though.
