That seems fair.

Here I have laid the yellow down over the blue as well as added a little red over top of that. I find that two colors look deep, three looks a little deeper. I normally only mix about 3 colors in when makin monster flesh tones.

The sign by the road says HAMB drags....Can't see it too well in these ****py pics. I don't have the right lighting for Digi cameras in the ba*****t....

It's easy to do backgrounds...it's those pesky foregrounds that MAKE the shirt! Very cool!

 

My shirts are embarr***ed and hiding in the corner, now. Between your impromtu cl*** and hanging out with BoomBoom tomorrow, I might have half a clue about shirts by the end of the year! Thanks again!

I love this "How-to" stuff! Friggin awesome! I tried my hand at airbrushing a while back, mostly for flames and coloring drawings... I could never do freehand drawing like that... amazing work, thanks for showing how it's done!

C9...Plus there is more to it than what I hinted at here. There are laws of perspective, proportion, color theory, line width, etc etc....HONESTLY I don't think about any of that junk when I paint. A person can't or their stuff will look stiff and wooden. You have to LEARN the rules....then forget them and just paint....

And I use Golden Fluid Acrylics thinned with Golden airbrush medium...However, I am also using Createx Airbrush colors and they seem to work best. Eventually, I will switch over to all Createx colors.

awesome stuff, thanks for the time it took to do this demo. had to be a drag sitting the brush down, picking up the camera, picking up the brush and so on. really cool to see how a kick *** piece comes together. your name came up this weekend during the MonsterRally paint-a-thon....great stuff VT!
