Thanks James I'm gonna give a big shout out to the salt shaker himself he was a big part of making my car run as good as it does that man spends more time helping out clowns like myself than he does working on his own stuff

You know it's funny that when I was engine man on the dry pond runner cars I crewed on I didn't help anyone else.....must be why we won some championship.....but the driver is a big part also.....can't tune stupid.
But I didn't like dirt track is was just the only gig in town if you know what I mean.
Now Drag Racing is completely different and I want my hands in all of it and want every one to do good and have an engine that sound right going down the track.
And when they beat me I know I did my job.

fixin to make me a seal for the cowl induction before the h.a.m.b. drags, and i figured a railroad crossing sign would work just fine....I'm gonna use the bottom of our old air cleaner. Dad got the gas tank drained and re filled, fixed the whining noise because the base plate wasn't tight to the throttle body and got jet extensions in the back metering block while i was making the pizzas Monday, got home and told me to go street dyno her. gave her a few rips and feels faster that that 12.5 pass against ole squirrel. I see sub 12s in the future... [emoji57]

The Prefect with my brother Paul and his daughter Megan got some good coverage. The little rust bucket was being called a slot-car since it just kept running laps. times were between a 10.47 in the heat to a 10.27 in the cooler air.

Yup. The bonus is that she has a nuclear engineering degree, although she didn't go into that field.

I know you guys all had a long tough weekend and I wanted yours to end on a high note, so I went ahead and dropped the clutch .002 early, which you got a good look at with your .237 or so light, and let you take the win...then I was still ahead and figured I would get out of it and let you take the stripe and feel the elation of crossing the line first for once. If you look at the timeslip and do the math, I was actually still ahead at the 1/8th mile even though the clutch in the "Child" was slipping like someone had smeared Giraffe crap all over the disc...we're doing a forensic investigation looking for evidence!

...our best pass was 10.32 Saturday night! :D
