If you need a specific part for your project, just drop me a message. I know somebody with a HUGE inventory of 50's Ford parts. You name the part, and I can probably get it for you.

I also have an extra 70B body if anyone needs patch panels.

What's up fellas! Glad to be a part of this group! I have a 53 Ford Customline, and a 53 Mercury Monterey. I just pulled the fuel tank from the Ford to clean it out. 56 years of God only knows what kind of **** has ac***ulated inside of it! I am looking for a tight steering box/column as well. Anybody have one they wouldn't mind parting with?

Hello. My car is put together from 3 parts cars and I am using the "1952" nose. It's a 2dr sedan going together as a mild custom. These cars don't get much from the aftermarket, but for basic parts try Concours Parts and Accessories. I found their website ok but their paper catalog has a lot more than I ever figured I'd find for the old Ford. I also know of a row of these in a salvage yard in southern Tennessee if this would help anybody, but they're pretty rough,

My first car was a 54 Ford Mainline,,,,I blew up the ivory 6 just a few days after I bought it,,16 years old and a size 12 foot,,the poor ol' engine couldn't take it!

I installed a Mercury 390 and it lasted until I rolled the car in a accident.

I went a few years not giving the 54's any thought,,then one day I met my future wife and her grandmother had a 54 Ranch Wagon, that she had purchased brand spanking new of Guy Motors Ford dealership right here in Anderson,South Carolina,,so we got to ride in it occasionaly,,my wife got her drivers license in the car,,,we dated in the car,

Then one day her grandmother decided to sell the car,,,my wifes dad(Clyde) wanted it so she gave it to him,,,he used it to haul junk and go camping in it,,,he ggrew tierd of it and decided to sell,,,this is where my wife steps up and he gave it to her.

She drove it for a few years and hauled our twin girls around in it,,until the spindle selfdestructed and it was parked in the barn.

Long story short,,the Wagon is a long term project with many ,many hours in just saving the body,,,

Got a '52 Sedan Delivery. Owned it a couple of years, but getting ready to get started on it. Good to get involved with some folks with this era Ford's.

  13. Hi All, geat to be part of the group. I'm doing a full rebuild/mild custom on a '55 ranchwagon for my Wife. Have adapted in a power steer box (RHD out of Australian '80's fairlane) and used a column out of a '66 bird to make it a little more comfortable for her to drive.
    Runs a y block , toploader and 9 inch .

Hey all, I've got a '53 Customline fordor that I picked up last summer. She's a stocker with 65k on the original V8 flattie. Interior is all original and in great shape. Still have the original tires (off of the car). Glad that you made a thread for us!
