    Ok coach. How'd i do for the first time in 20 years. I used scrap 16 guage. Welder is a miller mig 210 with 3/40 setting and not sure of the wire but I bet thick stuff my guys use it on square tubing.     Right off the bat I realized I was having problems cuz there was a bow in the 2 panels. Over all it will take some time. I didn't want to even worry about warpage at this point.
    I have think skin what do y'all think from the pics how can I improve.

    Can't tell from the pics - how much, if any, of a gap did you leave between the panels? Whenever I've butted the panels up close, I've had trouble.

    I eye balled it I would say 1/32 not much but I did leave a gap.

    can improve by using mig to tack only,and learn how to tig.Use 18 gauge sheet metal
