  1. Speaking of getting old and stupid, A few weeks ago I was using a drill press on one of these little projects that will only take a minute and had to be done right now. (according to the wife) Well, we all know about a little part and a drill press, when it started to get away from me, I did the smart thing and jerked my hands away from the danger. The part never touched me, but the screaming pain in my left shoulder almost put me on my knees. Yup, torn rotator cuff, surgery this fall when I can spare the time to recover. Had my right one done 3 years ago, so the doctor couldn't sugar coat it as much as he did the first time, he just said "you know the drill, 8 to 12 weeks with it strapped to your belly". Yes doc!

  2. Been there done that and have the T-shirt. Right shoulder. Carrying two 5 gallons jugs of nitro up the trailer ramp,,bang head hits trailer,,nearly drop the nitro,,grabbed it right quick before it hit the ground,,instead, I hit the ground screaming.

Dumb Dumb and Dumber. Next time that expensive **** will just have to hit the ground.

Years ago---went to move my 55 Chev BA 2dr hdtp while sitting on a bucket---from the driveway where it was sitting to the garage wall about 25 feet. Pushed down on the gas and went over backwards ---got 'er stopped..I'd rather be lucky than good.
