Hot Rods Well, I bought a Thames!

I love the Thames/ Fordson vans.... they are getting pretty hard to find here in England these days and bring good money if you find one.A few guys have fitted doors off the Anglia/Popular sedans... a bit longer and makes it easier getting in and out.
I sold a beater , many years ago to Alan Thornton of Flatlanders,.. he was in England and must of heard I had it for sale... it was surreal having this American knocking on my door looking to buy the van... I wonder if it ever got built?

This kills me! You want custom paint in the Atlanta area, your car will sit in a shop for months before anyone touches it, then more months to actually see it done.

Years ago at Carlisle swap somebody was selling a pair of aluminum louvered Thames doors, near perfect, for $80. My bad angel said "Buy them!" and my good angel said "Pass". Shoulda listened to my bad angel.

I think my wife would approve. Her son has a '48 Anglia and her old man a '49 and she's still around and interested in hot rods.
