FlatheadPete and I had a litlle "impromptu acceleration contest" yesterday on our way back from a car show; and I won!!! (sorry Pete!) My car fried the tires like usual (I am clueless about tuning ladderbars! )... The cool thing is, Pete says the left front tire (He couldn't see the right front) was about 3" or 4" off of the ground before it blew away what little bit of traction it had! Sorry if I'm a little too excited, but this is the first confirmed automotive wheelie of my career!!!
Steve, I heard you guys were goin to the Sloan show. Pete needs to put a little of life into his flatty to beat you Let's take that beast of yours up to Ubly some test & tune day and see what it will do.
Congrats man! It's always fun to pull the wheels. Or so I hear. My buckets are usually to heavy to do it so I wouldn't know. LOL Well except the bike and two wheels are few enough for my taste without cutting it down to just one. Makes it all feel like a job well done when you stomp on it and it really gets going.
Yeah Nate, Here's my hunk-o-poo with some of the GAY MICHIGAN******ES at Denises Pre-Billetproof party.
Yea, that jive-ass pile seems to move out quite well, now that will show those flat-head friends of ours.
Yup, that's the one. No...it was the driver's side that left the ground. Mighta lifted the passenger side too. After the 'race' a guy in a new Envoy (he was behind Steve) pulled next to me and confirmed what I firmly believe: 'If you had your slicks, you woulda beat him.' Sad but true.....
