I have an S-10 rear diff sitting here, from a 2wd truck. If you need any measurements off it, let me know. I've contemplated getting rid of it, but still unsure.

best to measure from axle flange to axle flange, at the flat surfaces where the drums seat.

  2. A nice, big speaker box would fill up the back seat.

I like stories like these. I'm in Ardmore, need anything let me know.

Yeah the Buick 2.8 is a bolt in to the where the 215 is. At least the early ones are for sure. And I'd have to say the Buick is one of the most reliable engines out there. Parts are available everywhere, hell it was produced for 25+ years. Bonus points if ya can get a T-Type or Grand National motor for it....

That was the first car I restored myself, a 63 skylark. That factory under dash A/C would freeze you out of the car and the face plate would frost up with ice! The right quarter molding will be a bear to find with the little hockey stick.

    They're in the trunk!

  11. Ya ought to put a 514 in that Probe with an Art Car C-6 and a tube frame .. That would be the deal right there .... I wanted to do that (in another life) and even found one and stopped and asked if it was for sale. Nope .. he said ... but it's still there .. I think "they" look at those cars sittin' there rustin' away as like a bird bath ... a real lawn ornament.

My one and only car my dad ever bought me was a 1962 Buick Lasabre 2 door hard top. A real piece of shit it was.:mad::mad:

I'm sure it could be yours for a song. The probe belongs to my brother. It is a GT with turbo but a bad clutch. He bought a new clutch, but never had it installed.

My 1st car was a Buick and I still have a Hi-Comp 350 I built when I was in HS. I sold Gozt the Skylark since he will do something with it a lot sooner than I would. I'm trying to put together a Big Block for my Impala and after that, I need to get my Regal race car back on the track.

'77 and '78 Buick Rivieras, the last rear drive ones based on the GM B-body, were coil spring cars and had disc brakes out back. I don't know the measurements, but it might be worth a look.
