Lauren is awake!!!!she has spoken and is responding to basic questions...She has done so well that she was taken down to have her leg set last night, 6 pins and a plate above her knee..Her speach is jumbled but cohearant at times, this apparently is expected.Not out of the woods but getting there.I spoke to Jason (Lauren's Dad) earlier and he mentioned all these people who he didn't know who kept mentioning some place called the HAMB who had posted messages of support on Caring Bridge....I did tell him who you all were and he passed his thanks to you all for the support and prayers...and for the kindness showwn by the HAMB community.

 

Thats great to hear that she is headed in the right direction.
