At the West Wendover KOA which is in Nevada,, we just say Wendover (which is actually the Utah side of town name) KOA
Today is the day they open up the reservations for Speed Week. I dialed for 45 minutes before getting through, and I have my return spot. It's a place to take a shower, have a dip in the pool, free wifi, wash your three day old clothes, which you can't do at the bend in the road. And they are above the flood zone.
