Hey... Just wanted to let you know how it was... I went to Daytona with some of my collegues, early yesterday morning. Since we're working here in Jacksonville for a few weeks, it wasn't too far... Nads and DixieDog... I'll contact you guys this week. So far, it looks like I will have next Saturday afternoon off, that'll give me the possibility to go to the Horse's ol' skool chopper show in Port Orange.. Now.. Since my collegues don't know jack **** about bikes, it was obvious that we just went down to mainstreet... Well, I sure had fun, but you guys were right... It's where all the high tech, yuppie billet bikers are... I'm not even gonna talk about the OCC hype... Damn, what is going through some people's minds. WCC had quite some shiny bikes on display, and this one raggedy old Trump bobber... I was taking some pics of that thing, and didn't even check out the other bikes. People had looks on their faces as if they were thinking I was some f#*kin' lunatic, because I was photographing some old piece of **** But anyways... We've been there from 7 in the morning till 9 at night and I think I've seen 15 Shovelsheads and maybe 6 or 7 Panheads... A lot of beer and some nice chicks made up for that, haha! I'll put up some pics of all the good stuff on the website, when I'm back in Europe... For the rest, I'm gonna try to go to tomorrow's AMA flattrack races at Volusia Speeday and hopefully the Horse show, next Saturday... I think I'll have to skip the big swapmeet... Too bad... But I shouldn't be complaining, because, afterall, I'm here for work! And the sun came out too!!!!
Went to the AMA Hotshoe series dirttrack race at Volusia Speedway park last night... I've seen some supermotard, ice speedway and stuff like that before, but dirttrack racing... Damn guys... It totally blew my mind!! Some of the coolest motorcycle racing I've ever seen! Got me a pitp***, and hopefully shot some killer pics! Can't wait to develop 'em!
So OCC was there with all their Custom Chrome "kit" bikes!? You gonna be able to make it to the Superbike race on Saturday? Should be a good one!

I'm camping out with The High Endurance Scooter Club on Friday night, I'll be at the Last Resort by noon on Saturday. Rumbler Del's band The Rhythmatics are playing. I'll see you there.
Hell yeah I'm goin'! The boss gave me the afternoon off! Now I only have to talk him into giving me an afternoon off to go to the Volusia swapmeet... Oh oh, it's so good to have a job in the Dutch Air Force!
