Those cold temps make us tough, and in the garage working on stuff. I was cold by the MSP airport this last weekend, I always seem to have a good breeze blowing for there. Did you see the dummy on the news that went for a Super Bowl halftime run on Sunday without shoes or a coat? Docs say might lose some feet or maybe just toes! -17f out!
don't know how cold but just north of oswego they were getting 7" of snow an hour and it hadn't let up since last night
Yeah Arizona....that place doesnt need a 5 day forecast. Same thing all the time.Sun sun sun. I got a buddy there whos originally from NY and he prays for a rainy crappy day and it never happens. Maybe 4-6 times a year? I lived there too for a while. wierd people (not you mike)

SHUT-UP! I was waiting for a similar comment from Kiwi Kev out there in Ventura, but I guess it was your turn to frost my balls today............. put on a flannel after the sun goes down.....BITE ME!!
What can I say? Another beautiful sunny day in the mid 70's here today. Best part is....in the middle of summer when you guys are melting in the heat and smothering humidity, it will be another beautiful sunny day in the mid 70's here!
I spoke too soon in the post above, you DID show up with a "sunny So Cal" post to frost my balls, well, you can bite me too..............
Sure, its freezing now. Anyone remember that for the entire month of december it was doom & gloom on the nightly news; global warming, no snow, ice shelf melting, blah, blah, blah. I hate the news media.
Well, it's probably not the COLDEST spot on Earth, but here in Miserable Michigan it was a balmy 8 degrees yesterday morning with -16 degree wind chills as I lay in the snow in a parking lot popping a tie rod back on and safety-wiring it to get me up the road to the muffler joint on the corner! Had to take my gloves off for a few seconds to work the wire and one finger froze instantly! Couldn't feel it for about twenty minutes (driving to the repair shop with that fingertip in the heater duct!) But...the old heap coughs and sputters to life every morning with a few pumps and a couple tries...even with no choke at all after sitting out in below zero weather all night! It's inhumanely cold here...but that's just part of life in Michigan. We'll get our four days of Summer in late June or early July, before August brings the frost again!
It's 77 right now (noon) but tonight it's supposed to get down to 60! Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 80s. I don't no what to do!
Glad to see you guys to the east finally got it. That cold has been sitting here on me since Christmas. Yesterday was the first day this year it actually got up to low 30s. We've been below 0 for at least part of the day for a damned month now. And that's not counting the wind chill. It's 23 out there right now with a 5 to 10 mph breeze out of the north and it feels like summer compared to what we've had the last month. Guys here at work are going out for their smoke breaks in short sleve shirts. It's all what you're adjusted to I guess. I'd like to know where this damned "Global" place is. I'd move there. My formerly frostbitten fingers and toes don't do well when it gets below 0.
Was -26 this morning. I don't want to know what it was with the wind chill! Thats why I'm in the house typing on this thing!
Got a foot of snow here in east central IL. yesterday. I think the high is supposed to be 15 today. Talked to Plowboy this morning and he said there's a 4 foot drift the entire length of his driveway.
Here in Santa Fe, New Mexico it is 27 and snowing with a wind chill of 18...Not as cold as some of you, but it's damn cold enough for me...I'm originally from Las Vegas, NV...
Up here it's -34 C with the windchill - that's -29.2 F for you guys south of the border... What do I win??!! Steve freezin' my ass east of the pass
