Wescott auto pricing needed? 31 closed cab pick up?

I've got an interesting trade offer on my Sedan, one of the items is a fiberglass 31 closed cab pick up with the box and wood. also has a TCI frame. Do you guys know what this stuff goes for? I looked at the Wescott site and couldn't find one? Do they make this body, if not who does?

I am trying to figure out what this stuff goes for new so I can figure out what it is worth as far as a trade in.

They're just down the road from me, I stop by all the time to buy magazines. they never throw any away so they have tons of back issues discounted. their catalogs are free e-mail me an address and I'll ship you one

not to get in a big steel vs. glass debate buti would guess with whats involved with making a glass cab the price would at least be 3k retail, but you should be able to find a decent steel cab for a grand i would think which i would think would be worth more, at least to me ...

sounds like hes trying to get out of a project he has no idea how to put together which would make it pennys on the dollar as far as trade in value to you ,i would think, but if he does it great ! you would then be the owner of yet another project

 

2001 catalog does not list 30-31 "A" closed cab P U. It may be somthing new?........OLDBEET

 

I think K-Member paid about $500 for a basic TCI frame, about 8 years ago.........OLDBEET

 

I was looking at getting a bare model a frame from TCI about a year ago before I decided just to build my own...for the bare frame it's about $600...

 

Man, does't sound like a fair trade to me unless there's 6 grand in the glove box of that truck! Your sedan is damn nice, woth what you are asking- wish I had the coin!

 

Just got the latest catalog and no closed cab p/u just rpus.....Danny

 

Actually this is a pretty complex deal involving several cars. I will be coming out of this with my hands full....

He had someone offer to trade this project in on another project he would be trading me so he is giving me the choice. The other project is worth 5 to 6 grand. I am just weighing my options.......

Thanks 48 hemi I don't really need a catolog but if you could get a price that would be cool.... I supose I could just call them, but I thought maybe someone would know.
