    G'day!

    Scott from Western Australia :)
Been lurking for a couple of months and this seems like a great site with lots of good information. And unlike a lot of other sites there doesnt seem to be any hatred or abuse of people and their ideas going on. Which is a rare thing on the internet.

    I have a 1957 Chrysler Royal AP1 (Australian Production 1)
These Australian produced mopars are based on a 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook (P25?) with different front and rear quarter panels.

The engine in mine is a 251ci "KEW" (English built) flathead 6. 25" long block.
Gearbox is a 3 speed Overdrive manual. Column shift.

It's going to be a long restoration as I have arthritis in my lower spine so crawling around under a car is not much fun.

First couple of pics are my project.
Last couple are an idea of what they look like rolling.

West Oz is a big place; I lived in Scarborough Beach and Mount Lawley (Perth) and Australind (by Bunbury). Never saw a Chrysler like that, very nice.

    Welcome to the HAMB.
