Is this actually a different car? Or just a "before" version. They are SO close.

 

Let me guess, 18's and 24'S. Champane color, molded interior.

 

It is the same car. Re-doing the top in white along with a few other details made all the difference.

Will its so strange its difficult to explain.
Basically he’s trying to make it a fender less roadster.
Super bell axle w split bones and disc brakes - 8” w parallel leafs 6 and 8 inch 15” five spokes w low profile tires. Stock top and he has cut back the front fenders so the headlights remain. The rear fenders are cut so there’s about 4 inches remaining bolted to the body at the top and tapering to nothing at the back. It’s getting a turbo and fuel injection on the flathead w a OD auto trans. To top it off its getting red white and blue stars and stripes flames.
It makes me ill to picture it

Any chance you could turn him on to ricers? Or at least get him into rehab?

 

I just recently befriended Kent. When I first saw his 38 ford was blown away.
I just could not stop looking at it. It has a style that's just perfect. I have never been into cars that are over the top gold and chrome everything. Just like there trying to sell you on how much I spent on my car. Just has never been my style. So from there I started loking up Cole Foster and the dude know what he's doing BIG TIME.
