OK, I've got a set of real old Western Superlite wheels (picture is just similar that I grabbed off the web, same name Superlite and same style, doesn't have the oval lug bolt holes). They have an adjustable bolt pattern. adjustment is made by using offset washers in the oval bolt holes and "necked" lug nuts. Seems to me that ET and Keystone did the same. I also remember a set of Cragerrs I had years ago. Does anyone know if the ET or Keystone will interchange? Is Western Wheel still in business? Can't find them on the web and I need some of the offset washers to use the wheels.
Western Wheel factory is now closed, another victim of corporate buyouts, and foundry moved offshore. It was here in La Mirada, CA just off the 5 freeway. I'm almost positive those washers will work. I used to have a set of Western Wheel mags on my 68 Camaro years ago.
You can still buy the Cragar ones and I think they will work. Western Chrome was originally founded in 1969 by John Siroonian, as John's Custom Wheels. John's Custom Wheels provided alloy wheel plating and steel wheel plating services to the San Joaquin Valley. They were based in Fresno. As they grew the name was changed to Western Wheel. They then moved to Santa Fe Springs /La Mirada CA. In 1978, Rockwell International purchased Western Wheel. Jimmy Smith was the CEO and when Western Folded he started Ultra Wheel. Jimmy raced baja trucks and had the coolest Bronco Pre Runner we used to see him run around town in. His brother Wendell also worked there and started Renegade Motorcycle wheels and later Rampage motorcycle wheels, and just p***ed away recently. Aside from the well known hot Rods, John was also very big in Ferrari's and he also sponsored the Western Wheel Special Sprint Car
