We're really happy to have Joey join our team. We've enjoyed reading his work here-work that will continue even after he hits California-and we're excited by what he's going to bring to TRJ. Congratulations on earning that degree Joey. Have fun at graduation. We'll see you when you get into town.
Congrats to the achievement of finishing what you've started, and the new endeavours that can only be a blessing to your long term dream and visions. Whilst I have no doubt there will be quite a bus ride along the way it will be an extremely cool and inspiring ride, that can only lead to great things. Embrace the opportunity, and follow your heart filled passion, as you have some great mentors around you, when combined with enthusiasm and passion can only lead to great things. All the best, and step forward. Cheers, Drewfus
Congratulation. Have enjoyed your articles but never knew you were so young. Looking forward to reading your articles both here and TRJ....
Congrats, major life change, but as Horace Greeley said "go west, young man". Some of us old timers wished we had when we were your age. Best of success to you, you are writing for the best there is, TRJ and TJJ!
Screw that. Drive down roads that you don't know where they lead, then get out and find out where you are. Life's an adventure, more so when you leave your comfort zone. Congrats and best of luck.
Congratulations, big step forward and I think you are well prepared. As a proud resident of the SF Bay Area let me say "Welcome". Glad to have you in town.
Congratulations! It was fun to have Ryan add another voice to TJJ, and it's been a blast reading as you found your style. I can't wait to read our work at The Rodders Journal. Best of luck!!
Joey - I'm so happy and excited for you! Super cool of Ryan to have a part in all of this. I'm looking forward to reading more of your writing. It always has the insight of a younger man, but reads like you were "there". I like that, because I wasn't there either. Has Algon finished that bug yet?
Shazam! Great goin, Joey! You're up there with the big dogs now. Working for the Cadillac of hotrod/custom publications.....My brother [freelance and does stuff for hotrod deluxe] will be sooooo jealous... I'm happy for you.
Wow! Congrats on being able to achieve your dream and goal! It seems like I blinked my eyes a minute ago and I was a dreaming of "just being involved in the Hot Rod Industry". That was a few decades ago. That's how quick it goes by. PC's/Macs weren't really apart of the game yet. This has really opened up a whole new world for Hot Rod related writing/journalism as you have experienced. A whole new world awaits you in South San Francisco. The TRJ's building even has a history being Roy's Place in its past life. This made my day seeing a young guy who's already cut his teeth writing for best guy (Ryan) in the "Revolutionary Way of Online and recently Print Media". Go give Geoff and Steve a hard time . They've acquired a valuable asset on the staff. Most of all, Never lose sight of your goals, which you have seemed to be achieving. Again Congrats!!!!!!!! Welcome to California!!!!!!!! .
Congratulations. Finishing a journalism degree at a respected university is no small feat, and you should be genuinely proud of yourself. Make your own luck, and create adventures worthy of being remembered and retold...
