Damn fine shots surf monkey! I thought that UK had fender laws...? Recommended apparell for driving the roadster during "Cold Wet" days..., Number 5 full sleave and leg wetsuit!!!! You'll look Goofy but you'd be warm and ready to Surf!!! Mark
the law seemed very relaxed....police were riding up and down constantly but there again they see it every year....the red roadster in the first pic has got the sweetest sounding motor i`ve ever heard ( i think this is the fastest flathead in the UK...might be wrong)he left that space at a rapid rate of knots monkey
Monkey, Missed you there, but only stayed a few hours. Saw Daisy & Taildraggin as well as Limey, but that's about it. My 2yr old was a bit anxious to go home & not feeling real well. What with the weather & the beach shut, wasn't a lot to do... I believe that's Jim Turnbull's roadster & he did win the flathead meltdown last year, so currently is the fastest (quickest?) flatty on the island. I talked to him last year at the nats - he's got a Joe Abbin, Roadrunner Engineering blower on there! It DOES sound sweet!
I'm guessing that a bright red 64 Chevy looks like it dropped in from a different planet there. Cool.
