   I agree, great color. BTW, on Chevrolet’s it was called Evening Orchid.

   GM also had a dark, almost black, purple in that era. Seen on a '66 or 7 Chevelle, and Camaro's, maybe others. Different, I didn't hate it.
   Quick search says Royal Plum.
