I got the new Grant gold ‘flake wheel for the Impala and got rid of the black foam rim one. HUGE improvement, and it’s an inch less dished than the old one, so much mor comfortable seating position. IMG_3781.jpeg

I'd say "Wash your hands!" but it sure cleans easier than foam, too! :D
Might make you upgrade your sunglasses, though.

I had to wash my hands every time I got out, they'd have black foam crumbles on 'em. :p

  5. They look great, I have an old gold flake in my Henry J, it had an adapter welded to the back and someone painted the spokes black but I resurrected it.

Lookin' great there @flynbrian48. The mystique of metal flake has always brought good vibes.
Reminds me of the t ii i me, oh yes. MY best bud calls me one after noon says I gotta run over to Penn*Jersey, (a PepBoy wannabe) To get him a gold flake one for his '60 Chevy Gold convert.
They were on sale, so I got a black one too for my '57. The pair came to $36.

When I was a kid, I had gold 'flake grips on the ape hanger handlebars on my bicycle. :)
