Friend brought this back from the GNRS in his truck. It's a Gary Maxwell/Blackboard Hotrods ( http://www.blackboardhr.com/ ) built bobbed and pinched 32 Ford frame with a Model A rear cross member and a Chassis Engineering center "X" member. As you can see the the workmanship is excellent. I have just about everything I need to build a roller. But I am still looking for a good body. While I am waiting for a body to come along I guess I will hoist it up into the shop rafters. And besides, I need to keep my focus on finishing the Model T sedan I have going.
What are you going to do with it? Well, I'm not naming names, but you could send it to your ol' buddy Gigantor... he'd be more than happy to get that pesky old thing out of your way for good! Congratulations. Wish I had friends who would drop stuff like that off at my place.
I got lucky. We were able to coordinate the frame's fabrication with my friend's schedule. Gary delivered it to the GNRS and helped load it on the truck. Great guy.
Bib Overalls, I help Gary out at the shop here and there when needed and I was lucky to already be at the show and seen Gary and Troy after they unloaded the frame. LOL!!! He is a good guy that will go the extra mile to give people quality in whatever he is doing for them. Ps hopefully I get a raise. LOL!!!
Garry was great to work with. The best part is that he was able to quote a price for all his standard features. So there was no vagueness about the final cost. And, of course, the workmanship is really outstanding.
yeah, he is pretty good with the tig. I like when he says one of his passes his is*****py. I'm like shoot I wish my best was that*****py. LOL
just wondering, How much of a kick up is in the rear? I'm getting a '32 frame built but still indecisive on how much to kick the rear, I want mine to sit low but still want to be able to go over speed bumps.
brent, u could look gary up at www.blackboardhr.com shoot him an email. He'll be more then glad to help you with any questions you might have.
No fan of rodent rods. The frame is going to be painted at some point. Real hot rods don't have fenders. No special kick up. Just standard ASC 32 rails.
