A huge thanks goes out to Mark Moriarity for opening his garage (and house!) to some of us today. What an honor it was to see his amazing collection up close. He even offered to let us sit in some of these significant machines. How many can say they saw (and touched) this stuff . . . let alone sat in it. WOW! Thanks again, Mark!

The highlight of my day. I had the opportunity to sit in the Dream Rod and his digger too, but knew it'd be a real challenge with my bad knee and I didn't want to embarr*** myself and get stuck!

Von Dutch's hammer . . . and yes, Mark let us fondle it. :)

I could have been snapping pictures the whole time and still missed a lot. Everywhere you looked there was cool stuff. A true car guy's (or girl's) fantasyland!

That looks like a great way to spend the afternoon. I have a feeling that I saw 75 percent of the vehicles in that garage in a magazine before I was 21 years old.

  7. Mr Moriarity definetly hes some very cool stuff! He gave all of us who own mad fabricators #5 a mini tour of his collection NICE!

I was in town a couple years ago for work and called Mark and got a tour of his empire, looks like he has added to it since I was there.

Cool guy and his collection and shop totally rules.

Mark, do you notice anything different on your old wheel off your 55? BTW I'll be in town this summer, I'll bring the wakeboard and a tow rope :D .. xtra

Looks like a fun place. Which one is Mark?

I was just looking at an old book the other day and saw a custom pink '59 Impala that he owned for a short time. I can't imagine why he would let it get away! It would look great in there squeezed between the '55 and '61.

    Thanks for the pics-

you guys are very lucky to be able to see and touch that kind of history, and Mark who owns it must be one hell of a guy for letting people see all that stuff!
