Folks Of Interest What an Auto Parts Store should be.

    Gman - I am from Valley Stream and writing a very short article on Studnick's (more like a long caption) for the local paper. Can you share any other memories you have about Studnick's? Do you know when the opened? Thank you.

    AmyHistory, its been a long time since I've been to Studnicks and when I was a teenager. I don't remember too much more then the wood floors and getting parts for our 36 Ford drag car after they closed so we could bring it to the old Westhampton Drag Strip. It was just an old time family run auto parts store who usually had what you were looking for. The biggest difference between Studnicks and other parts stores of the day was you could get parts after regular business hours as they lived upstairs.
