Technical What are good shocks for 52 DeSoto?

Looking for something that will last longer than a year. e.

 

Take that shock to the local parts store and they can cross the numbers to a Monroe shock. Or if they can’t they will at least be able to measure it and find one similar.

 

While your at it, move the top mount to the frame...

 

If you broke the top off of the shock something is wrong. Shock too short or the mounts are not in line. Shocks wear out, they don't brake in two.
