Tell us what kind of car it is, maybe we can help. Not all cars are the same. Do you want to remove the moding to get it rechromed, then put it back on? or do you want to leave it off and fill the holes? btw, most side trim is stainless steel, until the late 50s/early 60s when they started using aluminum. Neither one was chromed originally.
Go down to the hardware store and buy some chrome spray paint, that stuff always looks good, You can chrome your moldings, your wheels, hell even the whole car if you want, and while your there buy some aluminum paint also, then you can paint your heads and block and tell everyone their aluminum
Is it just me, or is this another question that has no answer from alexsteelers? I get the impression that these are baited questions. Maybe it's just me.
