Someone pointed out that these lenses aren't original in my 32 3WC. I’ve been scouring the internet and can’t find what they would have been taken from. Any insight?
I don't know what your lenses are, but here is the original for 1932-1934 Ford. (Technically this one is for a 1933-34, but it's the same, but not going into that!!). The lenses with have the Ford script on the bottom.
"It's a Dodge." That's our inside joke about any unidentified car in question. Seriously though, it reminds me of early Mopar. 1930 1931 Dodge?
It's a reproduction replacement lens for a '32 headlight, a lot of company's offer them, they are devoid of the Ford Script and usually can be found at the swap meets for less than 10 bucks each. the original replacements do have the Ford Script and sell for about 40 bucks each. HRP
That is defiantly an aftermarket lens. Take a close look at the script at the bottom of the lens. At first glance it says Ford, but on a closer look that does not say Ford. Like the aftermarket hubcaps that say Fool.
Look at the OP's logo picture and blow it up as big as possible. Doesn't look like a genuine Ford logo from the 30's. The font is off a little also.
I see you’re in Minnesota. This was a Gene Hetaland car. I understand he was always doing interesting things, so maybe the Lincoln is the answer.
